On Febru- ary 17, the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation was pre- sented with a cheque in the amount of $2,062 from the Legion Foundation. Larry Baily, District C Char- itable Foundation Chair, explained that the funds that are being distributed are from Poppy Fund donations and from the work of the Ladies Auxilliary. Applications are accepted for the funds and the Foundation distributes it each year to the successful applicants. The maximum consecutive times that an applicant can receive funds is three years. Virginia Steckle, Administra- tive Assistant for the Clinton Public Hospital Foundation, indicated that the funds would be used to purchase a new phlemobotomy chair.
