When each of them was born, he would write them a song on his guitar. "We're a very close fam- ily," said his daughter, Deb Cooper. "All the grandkids are very close to my parents." After Jim passed away two years ago, his wife, Janice, decided to frame each of the songs, of which there are eight in total for their eight grandkids. She is planning on giving each of her grand- children their framed song for Christmas. "We've a very close family," said Jim and Janice's daughter, Deb Cooper. "All the grandkids are very close to my parents." the frames as they had her husband's handwriting on them, so she went to Max Print and Copy in Clinton to do so. Janice explained to those working at the store why she was photocopying the songs, and she said those helping her were extremely empathetic. Her daughter, Deb Cooper, told the News Record, "They Contributed photo Jim and Janice Preszcator of Varna; Jim passed away just over two years ago. all had tears in their eyes when my mom was telling them he wrote the songs. And they don't know us from a hole in the ground:' After half an hour of work- ing on the photocopies to get them looking just right for Janice, when Janice went to pay, the gentleman working refused to take her money. He wanted to offer her the copies for free. "When my mom went to pay, they said, 'No, you are not paying for this at all,"' said Cooper. TUCKERSMITH COMMUNICATIONS CO-OPERATIVE LTD. Janice was deeply touched by the gesture. She told her daughter, and Cooper went into the store a few days later to thank them. When she brought it up to them, they were getting emotional again even then. "It's just a little part of somebody's life that we can have a hand in knowing it makes a difference," said the man working at the store.
