Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, this role works closely with
Merchandising, Procurement, and Logistics team members as well as our highly
valued producers and customers. You will gain knowledge in the agricultural
commodity business, currency market, and the transportation industry.
Responsible for evaluating market trends for developing new marketing solutions;
pairing customer needs with business goals. Ability to secure and purchase highest
quality grains, monitor grain inventory levels and meet sales objectives while
ensuring price risk management.
The successful applicant will have:
• College Diploma, University Degree, or Equivalent
• 2+ years work related experience; grain merchandising, sales & marketing
or agricultural commodities background an asset
• Strong business accounting knowledge
• Mature and goal oriented
• Demonstrated ability in leadership, critical thinking, time management, and
decision making
• Produce a high degree of accuracy with emphasis on quality and attention
to detail
