The late Margaret Sloman of Clinton
was honoured with a Celebration of
Life at Sloman Park on August 13,
attended by more than 100 family and
friends from the Clinton area, London,
Cambridge, Toronto and Ottawa. The
memorial was conducted by Rev.
Barney Grace (far left in photo), and
accompanied by his son and daughter-
in-law, Bill and Sue Grace, with hymns
and guitar music. The ceremony was
held in conjunction with the Sloman
Reunion which is hosted each year by
a different member of the extended
family throughout the province. Rev.
Grace and his wife, Linda, of Lindsay,
ON, organized the 2016 event, which
was named by many in attendance as
the best reunion ever", despite the
rain. The 2017 Reunion will be held in
Elliott Lake, Ontario.
