This summer's theme for the TD Summer Reading Program is "Wild", so their content has been based on that theme. The two leaders of
the program, Sam and Morgan, are students who have received grants to run the program all around the county.

Each week includes a "Minute to Win It" challenge. Here one participant tries to stack the cups on top of each other as many times as
she can in one minute. The program also includes a story, craft and reading logs for the kids during the week.

LANDFILL MEETING
Notice of Public Meeting
The Municipalities of Central Huron, Huron
East and Goderich representatives hereby
advise that a Public Meeting will be held on
Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.
in the Holmesville Community Hall located
at 190 Community Centre Rd, Holmesville,
to discuss a community waste centre/transfer
facility to replace the Mid -Huron Landfill site
which is scheduled to close in 2018.
Private waste haulers, contractors, members
of the public, local businesses and municipal
representatives are encouraged to attend.

There have been several other events at the library as well. Here
Denise Iszczuk from the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority
runs an event called "Get Wild" about local critters. This event was
on August 11. Their next event, "Mad Science", is on August 23
from 1 — 2 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required.
