Huron County 4-H 'Go For The Gold' competition 2016 On July 27, Huron County hosted the Local 'Go For The Gold' Competition at Clin- ton United Church in Clinton. Four teams participated including the South Huron Sheep Club "Bad Bad Black Sheep", Hensall Life Skill Club "Hensall Growers", Huron Goat Club and Team Wawanosh "Life Skill Club". Each team played two games each with the top scoring teams, Hensall and Wawanosh, playing for the title. The team members answered 4-H related ques- tions that ranged from knowledge and skills in over 60 different 4-H project areas including livestock, crops, machinery, farm safety, life skills, food and nutrition, plus general knowledge about 4-H, our communities and current events. The top teams were only 5 points in difference. "Bad Bad Black Sheep, placed forth, in third place was Huron Goat Club, sec- ond place went to Team Wawanosh and first to "Hen- sall Growers" August 17 is the regional competition at the Clinton United Church. Teams from Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce County will compete.
