The Indo -Canadian Festival on took place at the REACH Centre in Clinton on August
6. The event was put on by Kaushik Patel, the owner of Clinton's Charlie's Variety
Store, with the help of his wife Smita, daughter Riya and son Dev. The event included
speeches and a free meal for the 60-70 guests. It was to celebrate Indian and
Canadian culture and to showcase Huron County to the guests from outside the area,
of which there were quite a few.
