This year's theme at Clinton
Christian Reformed Church's
Vacation Bible School (VBS) was
"Deep -Sea Discovery': Every Bible
story the kids learned about fol-
lowed the water theme including
the story of Jonah, Noah and
more.
The camp ran each morning at
the church and included snack,
science, stories, crafts and games.
The different themes the activities
revolved around each day were
"God knows me'; "God hears me;
"God strengthens me", "God loves
me" and "God sends me'
.
It included children from ages
three to grade six, and 122 kids
were registered which is the high-
est number of kids they have had
in several years. One volunteer
credited this to promoting the
event earlier and using social

The kids participated in "filling
the boat", which was actually a
canoe placed at the front of the
church. Each day, kids brought in
non-perishable food items that
will be donated to Friends of the
Community Food bank in
Clinton.
