with fundraising. However, there are
many times that volunteers can
become involved in the necessary
functions and protocol of the founda-
tions they support. Participating as
mock patients during mandatory
drills is another way these valuable
volunteers assist staff and administra-
tion at the CPH.
In this National Volunteer Week,
take the time to get to know the vol-
unteers in your community. You may
be surprised at the many ways these
often unsung and anonymous heroes
contribute to their communities.
