Hagan at Seaforth Lanes. Since
there is a meeting of the league
next Sunday in Stratford, it is
imperative that ::'t returns be
made by thenm. The following
Saturday the draw will take
place at Seaforth Lanes, and it
is anticipated that Mayor Dins-
more will make the, draw.
Jr. Farmers Plan
Electric Course
Huron County Junior Farmers
will take an electrical course,
commencing early in 1964 and
extending over a period of nine
consecutive weeks. The first
meeting will be held in the ag-
ricultural office, Clinton, at 2
p.m. on January 8th.
Mel W. Alderson, Farm Su-
pervisor with Ontario Hydro,
London, will provide the instruc-
tion. One of the field trips will
be a visit to the nuclear plant
at Douglas Point. Subjects of
interest for some of the meet-
ings will be Central Distribu-
tion, Electric Motors and Elec-
tricity in the Farm and Home.

The altars of St. Columban's
Roman Catholic Church were
decorated with white and yel-
low chrysanthemums for the
wedding of Miss Rosemary Eliz-
abeth Murray, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Vincent Murray, RR 5,
Seaforth, and Daniel Francis
D'Connor, elder son of Mr. and
Mrs. James O'Connor, RR 2,
Dublin. Rev. L. J. Coughlin of-
ficiated at the double -ring cere-
mony and sang the Nuptial
Mass. Mrs. .Vincent J. Lane was
organist, and accompanied the
soloist, Lorne DeGaust, London,
brother-in-law of the bride-
groom.
The bride, given in marriage
'by her father, wore a floor -
length gown of silk organza and
lace, featuring a Sabrina neck-
line, lilypoint sleeves and a
bouffant skirt with back lace
inserts, sweeping to a chapel
train. Her elbow -length veil
was held in place by an irides-
cent crown. She carried red
roses.
The maid of honor ,was the
bride's sister, Miss Loretta Mur-
ray, Stratford, wearing a street -
length dress of winter -red peau
de soie with a bell-shaped skirt
and matching bows in front. Her
headdress was a pillbox hat set
off with a 'bow.
The bridesmaids were Mrs.
Lorne DeGaust, London, sister of
the bridegroom, and Miss Jean
Maloney, London. Their dress-
es were similarly to that of the
maid of honor. All attendants
carried white chrysanthemum?:
Michelle DeGaust of London,
niece of the bridegroom, was
flower -girl, wearing a white
dress with red cummerbund,
and a rosette on her head.
Ronald O'Connor, RR 2, Dub-
lin, was best man for his bro-
ther. The ushers were Marvin
Benninger, Dublin, and Steph-
en Cronin, RR 4, Seaforth. The
servers- at the Mass were Ron-
ald Murray and Danny Murray,
cousins of the bride.
A wedding dinner was served
at the home of the brides par-
ents, with a supper and a re-
ception later at the Brodhagen
Community'. Hall. The bride's
mother was wearing a two-piece
suit of pale blue, with white
accessories. The bridegroom's
mother wore a strawberry -red
jacket -dress with black acces-

Council Knight of Columbus of
Seaforth and district held a
successful Christas .. turkey
bingo in the LegioilHall Thurs-
day night. Over 1 0 enthusias-
tic bingo fans took part in the
15 regular games and four
share -the -wealth games. There
were two door prizes, each be-
ing a 20 -pound turkey.

Mrs. Harvey Hughey, Mitchell;

hat, After a honeymoon spent
in the United States, Mr. and
Mrs. O'Connor will live in Dub-
lin.
Guests were from Toronto,
Kitchener, Dundas, London,
Dublin and Seaforth.
FUNERALS
, RUSSELL McMANE
Russell McMane, a former At-
wood resident, died in hospital
in Vancouver Thursday even-
ing. He was 78.
Born on concession 10, Elma
Township, he was a son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mc -
Mane. He married Annie Hall
in Atwood in 1916, and they
farmed on Highway 23 just
south of Atwood.. About 1952
they retired to Atwood, and in
November of 1950 Mrs. Mc-
McMane died. Mr. McMane mov-
ed to Vancouver nine years ago
to reside with his daughter, Mrs.
Roger LaFond. He was a mem-
ber of Atwood Presbyterian
Church.
The body was at the Peebles
Funeral Home, Atwood, where
a memorial service was held
Monday afternoon at 2 p.m.
Surviving are two daughters,
Mrs. Lloyd (Dorothy) McCluskie,
Winthrop, and Mrs. Roger (Lily)
LaFond, Vancouver; six grand-
children; one sister, Mrs. Herb
(Mabel) Peebles, Atwood, and
one brother, Lorne McMane,
Grimsby Beach.
Burial was in Elma Centre
cemetery.
