On Thursday a small circus was put on by some of the children. A pet show was held on Friday. The winners were: best dog, Risky Parker, Karen Broderick, Bill Taylor; best cat, Bradley Lav- ender, Karen Smith, Chrissie In- gram; fish, Judith Mickle, Pam- ela Mickle; dog with the long- est tail, Steven Knight; dog with the shortest tail, Karen Broderick. The judges were Mrs. Jack Drysdale and P. L. McNaughton. About 60 chil- dren enjoyed an afternoon swim at Seaforth on Friday. The first week of the Hen- sall Playground was very cuc- cessful. A large turnout of children was engaged in various activities. On Thursday an "On Wheels. Parade" was featured, in which about 100 children participated. After decorating the bicycles, tricycles, wagons and even a lawnmower and wheelbarrow, the children par- aded down the main street, where they were judged. The winners were as follows: Bicycles and tricycles—Tots, Tony kyle, Rhonda Smith, Pat Joynt; intermediates, Cathy Fuss, Susan Broadley, Marjorie Schwalm; seniors, Diny Loeslag, Andrew Wale, John Joynt; oth-• er vehicles, tots and intermedi- ates: Kathy Cook, Shirley Smale, Bill Webster; seniors, Linda Lowery and Brenda Noakes, Janice Bonthron and Carolyn Cook, Bert Koeslag.
