Club held a tournament Wed-
nesday, when clubs from Gode-
rich, Wingham and Seaforth
battled all afternoon for a spot
near the cat.
The three entries from Wing -
ham walked off with the priz-
es. Their skips were Mrs. Fin-
nigan, Mrs. Du Val and Mrs.
McIntyre. Thirty ladies enjoy-
ed a delicious pot -luck supper.
A short meeting was held af-
ter the tournament at which it
was decided that each member
would try to bring a new mem
ber next Thursday afternoon.

McKILLOP WMS MEETS
The McKillop WMS of First
Presbyterian Church, Seaforth,
met at the home of Mrs. James
Aicheson Thursday. The presi-
dent, Mrs. Elgin • Nott, opened
the meeting with a prayer, fol-
lowed by Hymn 494. The roll
call was answered by 17 mem-
bers and two guests.
Miss Jean Scott offered her
home for the July meeting. It
was decided that the fees for
the Ladies' Aid be taken to
the July meeting.
Mrs. Arthur Nicholson read
the Scripture, which was taken
from Ephesians, chapter 6:10-
20. The topic, "Today," was giv-
en by Mrs. Elgin Nott from
Asian rhymes. It was told in
question and answer form. She
also read a chapter on the life
of the people in Korea and their
country.
The president thanked Mrs.
Aicheson for the use of her
home and all who helped.
