At Staffa NuII
Mr. and Mrs. Jinn Scott's fam-

tives and friends on Saturday
evening, June 8, in Staffa Town-
ship Hall on the occasion of
their parents' 25th wedding an-

and Bobby • presented
their grandmother with a yel-

their grandfather, with a white
carnation. The evening was

Howe's orchestra.
John Wallace read the ad-
dress and the presentation of
a swivel arm chair, a mirror,
silver dollars, silverware and
silver dishes was made to
Allene and Jim by Ross Smale
and John Drake. The family
served a delicious lunch, com-
plete with wedding cake, at the
close.
Following is the address:
Dear Allene and Jim: Twenty-
five years have come and gone
since you chose this path to
tread; twenty-five years with
their joys and sorrows, filled
with the hopes and fears that
come to those who wed. Your
family grew as tjie time went
by, First Duncan, then Penny,
then Jerry; it seemed that these
three made your family tree;
They grew apace through sick-
ness and health; then Duncan
took Jay for his mate, and Ron-
nie arrived, still keeping your
trio complete, till Penny decid-
ed tb take Carlyle, and set up
housekeeping within amile.,
Now your family tree is branch-
ing out, with James and Bobby
and Barbara Suzanne, so Grand-
ma and Grandpa you now have
become, which is a very fine
twenty-five year plan. Your
friends here assembled are
happy to wish you continuing
health for fifty years more; we
brought some reminders to add
to your pleasures, kindly ac-
cept them, with good wishes
galore.
