Clayton has gone to Camp Borden for the summer, whereLtte taking an army of- ficer's cadet training course. The wedding dinner and re ception for Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Schutt (Dorothy Hinz), of Mit- chell, was held at the Com, munity Hall here on Saturday. A large crowd attended the dance at the Community Hall on Friday evening, with CKNX Ranch Boys provided the the Music. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Wieter- sen and Ralph, of Bornholm; Miss Joyce Jordan, of Mitchell; Mr, and Mrs. Wm. Gibb and Katharine, of near Stratford, and Mr. L. G. Rock, with Mrs. August Hillebrecht on Tuesday evening on the occasion'of Mrs. Hillebrecht's 80th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. "John Mueller and Ruth Ann, of Hamilton, at the same .home for the weekend. Mr. Eli Rapien spent a few days with his wife, who is con- valescing at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Norman Hoff- meyer and Mr. Hoffmeyer, near Sebringville. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Sholdice and Mrs. W. L. Querengesser visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sholdice, Walton, on Sunday. Connie Faye Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Moore, was baptized during the Sun- day morning service by Pastor Brill. The sponsors along with the parents were Mr, and Mrs. Ronald Beuerman; also Earl Gordon Wurdell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Wurdell was bap- tized with Miss Doris Tully and Raymond Phoenex, of London, the sponors, along with the par- ents. An inspiring Mother's Day sermon was presented by Pas- tor Brill at St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Sunday. Mrs. Rosina Miller has re- turned to her home here after spending the past two months with her grandmother, Mrs. Ed. Fischer, and Mr. Fischer in Seaforth. Plans were made for a bake sale. The Nene meeting will be in the form of a barbecue, to be held at Bay- field.
