April 9, at 8:30 p.m. Roll call

of fees. Reports of standing

rent events by Mrs. Ross Gor-

Eacfi course must have an enrollment of at least fifteen to
ensure its continuance. Registration will take place during
the last week of September. However, in order to facilitate
organization you are requested to complete the form below
if you plan to participate next October. Suggestions for
courses not mentioned above would be welcomed. Please

her daughter, Mrs. Leonard

Mac. R. Lobb has purchased
the farm of Mr. Arthur Chap-
man.
Mr. Norris Sillery has pur-
chased the house of Mr, Lorne
Wilson. Mr. Sillery plans to
move it to a new location on
the Seaforth road and have it
remodelled into a modern
home.

Of Mr., Mrs. Kerr
On Friday evening about 70
friends and neighbors called at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. James
Kerr, McKillop Township, to
honor them on the occasion of
their twenty-fifth wedding an-
niversary. The evening was
spent playing cards. Winners
were: ladies' high, Mrs. Les
Pryce; consolation, Mrs. Arthur
Henderson; men's high, James
Keys; consolation, James Hogg.
During the evening Miss Di-
anne Henderson favored with a
couple of solos.
The following address was
read by Mrs. George Campbell,
and a step-up table and an oc-
casional chair were presented
to the happy couple by Robert
M. Scott and George Campbell.
"Once upon a wedding day,
you drove side by side, and now
it's very plain to see you both
enjoyed the ride. And rolling
along together, at a very happy
speed, you he ded for a future,
that's been wonderful indeed:
We have called to wish you
happiness on this your special
day, and to extend best wishes
in a friendly sort of way. On
behalf of your friends and
neighbors we ask you to ac-
cept these gifts as a remem-
brance of your twenty-fifth an-
niversary, and hope that you
will enjoy many more 'years of
happy wedded bliss.'
Mr, and Mrs. Kerr have re-
sided all their life in McKillop
Township, first on concession 6,
and later on concession 5. Mrs.
Kerr is the former .Esther Dor-
rance, daughter of the late ?ilr.
and Mrs. James Dorrance. They
have three of a family: Robert,
Betty and Margaret, all at
home,

ing and family, of Munro, visit,

Mowet Stacey had a fall the
other day and broke his wrist.

Teresa, Winnipeg, visited on
Sunday with Mrs. Mary Mal-
colm and Mr. and Mrs. Dalton
Malcolm. Also at the same
home were Mrs. Ross Gordon,
Donna and Barry, Seaforth, and
Mr ,and Mrs. Jim Gibb, Allan
and Doug, Stratford.
Mrs. John Moore and baby
daughter have arrived home
from Stratford Hospital,
Mr. Robert 'Gibb, Glencoe,
visited Saturday afternoon with
Mr. and Mrs. Darton Malcolm.

to Randy Moore, son of Mr. and
Mrs. George Moore, Staffa, who
was head junior boy in the
speaking contest from S.S. 3,
Hibbert, Mrs. Kemp being his
teacher. "Electricity" wads his

week with the Glee Club from
Mitchell High School.

in Zion Church on Sunday.
