FOOD and FIXIN'S
Recipes For the Busy
Homemaker
FROSTING ADDS FLAVOR
A hardy standby that every
good cook likes to keep handy
is a good sweet bun recipe.
And Frosted Butterfly Buns
are a particularly appealing
version of these old favorites
because their tastiness is height-
ened by a topping of almond
confectioners' icing added while
the rolls are still warm from
the oven.
Served with fruit, these sugar
and cinnamon -filled buns make
a delectable dessert duo. And
they also ring the change for
toast at breakfast or brunch,
brighten coffee breaks and
lunch boxes, or act as appetite
quenchers for the after-school
crowd and the midnight pantry -
raider.
Frosted Butterfly Buns
Yield -16 Buns
