Mrs. Monture was the group's first president. This was the fourth year' of the competition, and during these four years, pupils from District 8 schools (Huron and Perth Counties) have won priz- es three times on the provin- cial level. Vincent Maloney is a patient in Scott Memorial Hospital. Hold Successful Euchre Twenty-three tables of euchre were in play at the parish hall Tuesday eevning. Prizes for the high score were won by Mrs. Clarence Ryan and Dominic Murray. Mrs. Jack McIver won the prize for the lucky chair, and Mrs. John Murphy won the lucky cup prize. A pot -luck supper followed the cards, serv- ed by the ladies of the Cath - olio Women's League. Follow- ing supper an hour's dkncing was enjoyed.
