First of all, the Legion is- hold- ing its big turkey bingo on Wednesday night, Dec. 12. Keep this in mind for your Christ- mas^ bird, and the next night we have our regular monthly meeting. This should be a real big turnout, as it combines gen- eral business and election of your 1963 executive as well. Now for our Christmas pro- gram: On Dec. 23 there will be. our annual Christmas con- cert for all the veterans, kid- dies and any child who would like to do a bit on the plat- form, just get in touch with Mrs. Gordon Scott and all will be arranged. The annual Christmas dance by invitation is going to be on Dec. 26, so keep an eye on your mail around that date. For the first time the Legion has de- cided to hold a New • Year's dance. This will be a real gala affair, with hats, horns, etc., to make it a real night for all. And a final reminder for the hockey this winter. It starts on Saturday, Dec. 15, so have your boy registered that day if at all possible, and the lucky winner of the Grey Cup ticket for $500 was Cliff Petrie, of Seaforth. Congratulations, Cliff, on your win. We'll sign off now. Keep the above dates in mind and I'll leave you with a passing thought for our fallen com- rades: "At the • going down, of the sun and in the morning we will • remember them," ANSTETT JEWELLERS Offers you the following on the purchase of a or WATCH ALL Watches are Guaranteed for 1 year.
