operated wing. Ali equipment

approval of the Dept. of High-

joyed by all.
An address was read by -Mr.
Bowie, and gifts were present-
ed by Mrs. Hillebrecht and Art
Devereaux. Mr. and Mrs. Wil-
son received a record cabinet
and each of the children, a wal-
let. They expressed their than

Brown's mother, Mrs. Baker,
on 'Monday at Hensall.
Hopper Drillers are at pres-
ent drilling a well on Mr. El-
mer Shade's property for the
Township of Tuckersmith, in
order to supply water to homes
in the south end of the vil-
lage.
Recent visitors with Mrs.
James Aikenhead were Mrs.
Arnold and a friend, Miss Mil-
dred Murray, of Detroit.'

• Stanley Sallies Meet
On October 23„ the seventh
Stanley Sallies 4-H meeting was
held at the home of Mrs. Eileen,
Consitt. The meeting opened
with the 4H Pledge. The. roll.
call was answered by giving
the name of labels of commer-
cially canned or frozen vege-
tables. The minutes were read
by Ann Clifton. The topic was,
"Vegetables All Year Round."
Two cans of peas were opened,
one can was fancy and the oth-
er choice: • The size and flavor
were discussed. The meeting
closed with "God Save the
Queen."
