Timely Tips
Kitchen storage can add to
the hazards around any farm
home. Keep detergents, medi-
cines, and other potential dan-
gers stored well above chil-
dren's .reach, warn safety spe-
cialists with the Ontario De-
partment of Agriculture. And
don't try to reach thosecup-
boards by standing on a box or
chair. A combination stool and
steps is much cheaper than a
hospital bill.

Take the RUN out of
RUNNING your home
Like most busy folks in Sea -
forth you've probably found
that running a home today
keeps you on the run (pardon
our pun), and nowhere is this
more evident than in the kW
'chen—the busiest room in the
house. No one likes to leave
a crucial cooking job to answer
f
the phone, unless, of course,.
the phone is right there in the
kitchen. With a handy colour.
ful extension you can make and "
take calls while you watch the
youngsters underfoot and that
"labour of love" simmering on -
the back burner. The bedroom
too is an ideal spot for a handy
extension: It will save you a
lot of running to the phone
downstairs and provide a feel-
• ing of security at night, special.
ly if you are ever alone. Call
us today at 200 and ask about
extension telephones in colour.
We'II be glad to talk it over
with you.
• Watch Our Children
Seaforth Chief of Police El-
mer Hutchinson reminds resi-
dents to drive safely, now that
school has started.
The streets of our town are filled again with youngsters
on their way back to school. Many of them are very young
and still not fully aware of the dangers of passing • auto-
mobiles. May we remind everyone to exercise extra caution
while driving near schools or wherever young school children
may be walking. Let us remember that children do not
always think before they move and can generally be counted
on .to do the unexpected.
