staff. Each member is request-
ed to bring a grandmother with
her as a guest. Lunch commit-

MEETS AT MITCHELL LIONS PARK.
Dublin Women's Institute
held their monthly meeting at
the Lions Park in Mitchell,
which took the form of a picnic,
on Tuesday afternoon. Twenty
members, children and several
visitors attended.
'A short business meeting was
held with the president, Mrs.
Whetham, in charge. The meet-
ing opened with the Ode and
the Mary Stewart Collect. A
discussion on the TB Clinic, to
be held in St. Patrick's parish
hall in Octdber, was held. Adults
and children are requested to
take the opportunity of the
test. Roll call was answered by,
"How to postpone old age."
Games and contests were then
held with Mrs. Joe Dill, Mrs.
Rueben Aikens and Mrs. Doug
Racho winning the prizes. The
children enjoyed swimming in
the pool. Lunch was served,
with, Mrs. Whetham and Mrs.
Racho in charge.
In July the ladies attended a
performance at the Stratford
Shakesperan •Fistival.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jordan,
Sarnia, ,with friends in the vil-
lage.

mondville, and Master Bill and
Miss Barbara Chambers, Wing -
ham, spent holidays with Mr.

ing at the Pridham Motel for
the summer, and left on Mon-
day to train for a nurse in Kit-
chener -Waterloo Hospital.

ied Mr. and Mrs. George Kumm
and family to Sudbury last
week.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Barker and
Ray visited in Ottawa, Montreal
and North Bay last week.

wedding anniversary of Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Keyes at their home

OBITUARIES
MISS FLORA McDONALD
The death of Miss Flora Mc-
Donald occurred in St. Mary's
Hospital, London, Tuesday, Sep-
tember 4: She was in her 98th
year.
Miss McDonald was born in
Tuckersmith Township, daugh-
ter of the late Archibald Mc-
Donald and Sarah McMillan.
Following the death of her
father, the family moved to
Seaforth, where they resided
for a number of years. Later,
she and her sister moved to
Detroit and remained there un-
til the death of her sister in
1943. In 1944 Miss' McDonald.
returned to Seaforth, and later
went to reside at St. Mary's
Hospital, London. She was the
last surviving member of the
family.
The remains rested at the W.
J. Cleary Funeral Home, Sea -
forth, until Thursday morning,
when removal was made to St.
James' Church, Seaforth, where
Requiem High Mass was sung
by Rev. C. Caruanna. Burial fol-
lowed in St. James' cemetery.
Injuries Slight
In Hensall Crash
An accident one mile north
of Hensall, on Highway 4,! Sun-
day evening, caused property
damage at $600, and hospitaliz-
ed two. The accident involved
cars driven by Earl Gackstetter,
18, Exeter, and Gary Jones, 18,
Kippen.
Jones was admitted to South
Huron Hospital, Exeter, with a
bump on the head; and Douglas
Jeffery; 17, RR 1, Hensall, was
taken by Bonthron ambulance
to Clinton Public Hospital, with
cuts and injuries. Both cars
were proceeding north when a
rear -end collision resulted. OPP
George Mitchell, Exeter, investi-
gated.

Fish Sticks in Toast Coats
1 package frozen fish sticks
10 slices white bread, trim-
med
1/3 cup commercial sand-
wich spread
1 tablespoon prepared
horseradish .
Toothpicks
Combine sandwich spread
and horseradish. Spread on one
side of each bread slice. Ar-
range one fish stick diagonally
'across -spread surface of each
bread slice. Bring two remain-
ing opposite corners to centre
over fish stick. Secure with
toothpick. Place in hot oven
preheated according to pack-
age directions for fish sticks.
Heat until bread is golden and
fish sticks are heated through.
Serve immediately.
