For Chicken
Over 700 attended the annual"
chicken barbecue, program and
dance at the Community Park,
Brodhagen, last Wednesday eve-
ning. The program was pres-
ented by CKNX Ranch Group,
with Johhny Brent as master
of ceremonies, and they also
provided music for dancing in
the hall. Bingo, and booths
were set tip in the basement,
owing to the rain.
Mr. Chris W. Leonhardt re-
turned home after being con-
fined to Scott Memorial Hos-
pital for a few days last week.
Mrs. Wilfred Ahrens return-
ed home from Stratford "Hospi-
tal, where she -underwent an
operation.
Mrs. Harold Smyth has been
confined- to bed at her home.

South Huron Gideon picnic
was held Wednesday at the
Lions Park, Seaforth, with 35
in attendance. In charge were
E. L. Cornish, E. Mousseau and
J. Thompson.
Following the supper, relay
races and games were enjoyed
by all. A time of singing and
inspiring testimonies•+brought
the evening to a close.
OAC OLD-TIMERS PICNIC
The OAC old-timers' picnic
was held at Seaforth Lions
Park with 25 in attendance. In

to learn of the sudden death
of Mr. George McCartney. We
wish to extend our sympathy

his brother on Wednesday.

Addison recently moved to
London from Elliot Lake.
