A pretty weddirtg took place
on Saturday, July 14, at 11:00
a.m., in St. Barnaba's Anglican
Church. Windsor, when Wilma
Mary Ann Douglas became the
bride of Roy Andrew Dungey.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. James Douglas,
Windsor, and the groom is the
son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Roy C. Dungey, Seaforth: Rev.
D. D. Jones officiated at the
Matrimonial Communion before
a setting of white and pink
glads.
, Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a full-
length gown of white bridal
satin with a large bow and 'train
at back. The bodice and train
were accented with sequins. A
crown of tulle rosebuds held her
shoulder -length veil.
The matron of honor, Mrs.
Leroy Ouelette, of Hamilton, Bay.
and bridesmaids, Mrs. Ted
Wales, Seaforth, sister of the
groom, Mrs, Gary Douglas, of
Windsor, and Mrs. Buratto, Al-
berta, wore identical gowns of
shocking pink with overskirts
and matching hats. Miss Lynn
Douglas, of Windsor, ,was. Rower
girl.
Mr. John Boshart, of Sea -
forth, was groomsman, and the
guests were ushered by Gary
Douglas, Windsor, Leroy Ouel-
lette, Hamilton, and Stew Steers
of Waterloo.
A reception was held follow-
ing the ceremony, in Menzenti
Hall. For a wedding trip the
bride chose a green sheath suit
and white accessories. On their
return they will reside in Wa-
terloo.
Guests were present from
Seaforth, Hamilton, Toronto,
Detroit, Calgary and North

KITTY NOTES
Seaforth bowlers were suc-
cessful in out-of,towi play last
week. At Clinton an Wednes-
day, Bab Bpig and Jack Muir
took fourth prize in the men's
doubles.
Last Thursday, at Goderich;
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Muir took
first place, and Mi, and 'Mrs.
Bob Doig took fourth in .the
mixed doubles.
Inter -club tournament at God-
erich, held Saturday, was visit-
ed by 18 bowlers from the ;ea -
forth club. The Goderich club
will be sending representatives
to play here Saturday night in
a return visit,
KIPPEN
Miss Dorothy Jackson and
Miss Ann kiegis, of Owen
Sound, nurses in -training at Kit-
chener -Waterloo Hospital, visit-
ed a couple of days last week
with the former's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Stanley Jackson and
family.
Alice Ann Dalrymple, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Dal-
rymple, celebrated her second
birthday Sunday at her home.
Her father returned to .work
Monday at General Coach, Hen -
sail, having sustained an injury
to his foot a week ago.
Mr. W. L. Mellis spent a few
days in St. Thomas, the guest
of his sister and brother-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hutchi-
son.
A chicken barbecue was held
Thursday evening on the lawn
of Mr, and Mrs. Elzar Mous-
seau, and was sponsored by
South Huron Youth For Christ,
:with about 120-125 attending.
A short program followed, with
a special speaker from Guelph.
Mrs. Nelson Hood left Lon-
don Sunday for a month's vaca-
tion in Kenora and Winnipeg,
where she will visit friends and
relatives!
Congratulations are extended
to Mr. and Mrs„James McGre-
gor for the gift of a son, born
Sunday at Clinton Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. John Keyes and
family, of Varna, visited Sun-
day with Mrs. E. Dowson.
Mr. and Mrs, Fred Rowntree,
of Rowntree Beach, near Mid-
land, visited a fe'w days with
the' formers sister, Mrs. N.
Long, and Mr. Long. Saturday
guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ed.
Morton, of near Seaforth.

McClure reunion was held at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy
Dalton, RR 1, Walton, on Sun-
day, July 22, with 170 present.
