Decoration Services..
Decoration Day services were
held• Sunday afternoon under
the auspices of the Canadian
Legion, Branch 468, in-
conjunc-tion with the I00F, Lodge 223.
Following a brief service at
the cenotaph. where Chaplain
Rev. Currie W inlaw and Rev.
Ross MacDonald took part and
a flag placed for the Legion by
President John Skea, they pro-
ceeded to Hensall Union Ceme-
tery. P. L. McNaughton gave
the charge for, the IOOF Oddfel-
lows and also read the names
of graves that were decorated
at Hensall and McTaggart's
cemeteries. Mr. Skea placed a
wreath at Hensall Union ceme-
tery in remembraa a of the un-
known soldier's gve. In all,
73 flags and one wreath were
placed en graves.

minister of Carmel Presbyter.

day address, speaking on "Our
Debt To Life"—"I am debtor,"
Romans 1:14. "This is what all
the really big people of the
world^ have felt; they have re-
alized themselves to be people
infinitely in debt to life and to
their fellows. The small people
of the world, on the other hand,
have always felt that life is
somehow under a kind of ob-
ligation to them. But the big
people feel that they owe to
the world all, that they can gi've

RE LIQUOR LICENCE ACT VOTE
THE MUNICIPALITY OF THE TOWNSHIP OF McKILLOP
Public notice is hereby given, that in accordance with
the provisions of The Liquor Licence Act, and in pursuance
of a by-law passed by the municipal council of the Township
of McKillop on the 19th day of April, 1962, I require the
presence of the voters at my office, Lot 27, Concession 2,
Township of McKillop, on the 13th day of June, 1962, at two
o'clock in the afternoon, Daylight Saving Time, at which time
I will announce the names of the persons appointed to act
for the Affirmative and for the Negative respectively upon
the poll to be holden under Section 72 of the Liquor Licence
Act, upon the following questions: .
Are you in favour of the
sale of beer only under a
public house licence for
consumption on licensed
premises to which women
are admitted?

Are you in favour of the
sale •of beer only under a
public house licence for
consumption on licensed
premises to which men
only are admitted?
And notice is further given that the vote will be taken
upon the same questions in the manner provided by law at a
poll to be rpened_ on the 27th Day of June, 1962, from the
hour of 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., (Daylight Saving Time), at the
following places: •
Polling Sub -Division No. 1—Comprising that part of
the Township from Lots 1 to 17, both inclusive, and from 1st
to 7th Concession, beth inclusive, at the residence of Thomas
Murray, Lot N% 10, Coneessj.on 5. -
Polling Sub -Division No. 2—Comprising that part of the
Township from Lots 18 to 35, both inclusive, and from the
1st to 8th Concession,' both inclusive, at the residence of
William Kerr, Lot SW Corner 24, Concession 5.
Polling Sub -Division No. 3—Comprising that part of the
Township from Lots 1 to 18, both inclusive,' and from 8th to
the 14th concession, both inclusive, at the residence of Chris-
tena Leonhardt; Lot 10, Concession S 13.
Polling Sub -Division No. 4—Comprising that part of the
Township from Lots 19 to 35, both inclusive, and, from the
9th to the 14th Concession, both •inclusive, at the residence
of Ross Driscoll, Lot Ey2 25, Concession 12.'
And further, that at my Office on the 28th day of June,
1962, at the hour of 1 p.m. (Daylight Saving , Time), 1 shall
• open the ballot boxes, add up the votes given upon the said
questions and declare the result of the said vote in the said
Municipality of the Township of McKillop.
Of which all persons are hereby required to take notice
and govern themselves accbrdingly.
Given under my hand at McKillop Township, this 19th
day of May, in the year 1962.
