Decoration Day services were held• Sunday afternoon under the auspices of the Canadian Legion, Branch 468, in- conjunc-tion with the I00F, Lodge 223. Following a brief service at the cenotaph. where Chaplain Rev. Currie W inlaw and Rev. Ross MacDonald took part and a flag placed for the Legion by President John Skea, they pro- ceeded to Hensall Union Ceme- tery. P. L. McNaughton gave the charge for, the IOOF Oddfel- lows and also read the names of graves that were decorated at Hensall and McTaggart's cemeteries. Mr. Skea placed a wreath at Hensall Union ceme- tery in remembraa a of the un- known soldier's gve. In all, 73 flags and one wreath were placed en graves. Rev. Ross MacDonald, B.A., minister of Carmel Presbyter. ian Church, gave the decoration day address, speaking on "Our Debt To Life"—"I am debtor," Romans 1:14. "This is what all the really big people of the world^ have felt; they have re- alized themselves to be people infinitely in debt to life and to their fellows. The small people of the world, on the other hand, have always felt that life is somehow under a kind of ob- ligation to them.
