Santa Claus Makes Dublin Visit
One of the best crowds in
years—more than 400—was on
hand Saturday in Dublin to wel-
come S to on his annual visit.
Santa Claus arrived on sche-
dule, c osing an old-fashioned
cutter for transportation. He re-
ceived an enthusiastic welcome
from a cheering crowd and
Chamber of Commerce officials as
he began greeting the children
who were waiting for him. Each
child received a bag of dandy.

Smile of the Week
Playing a water hole at a lo-
cal golf club, an avid golfer,
the guest of a club" "member,
promptly drove his ball into the
pond. Then he asked his host
to supply him with another as
he had no spares. The guest
unerringly drove the new ball
into the pond too, and did the
same with a third, fourth and
fifth.
"Ralph," the host protested,
"those are my brand new $1.25
golf balls you're losing."
"Look here, Cary," replied
Ralph, the dunker, "if you can't
afford this game, you shouldn't
be playing it."
Christmas blessings
to you and yours!
