Everyone is urged to collect items for the gigantic rum- mage sale Oet. 30, .e;g., clothing, toys, furniture and miscellan- eous. It was suggested that all bring or send a suitable article to start the tuck shop; also for the tuck cart, magazines, com- ics and pocket novels would be appreciated by conveners Mrs. M. Cardno and Mrs. M. Harbkirk. There will be a membership drive in November, convened by Miss A. Reid, After the business Miss V. Drope gave an interesting and descriptive talk on the new hospital. . Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nott, of Trenton, • 41ich., and Mrs. Clay- ton Mart n, of Clinton, were guests of Mrs. Ada Dale last week. Mrs. Ferne Patterson spent a few days in Petrolia last week. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dunlop and Ruth and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hillen, of McKillop, were on a motor trip to Michi- gan State over the holiday. Mrs. Dawson Reid, of Guelph, was a Sunday guest of Miss Hazel Reid. Mr. and Mrs. Walter' McMil- lan, Belleville, spent the week- end with Mrs. John McMillan and Mr. W. J. McDowell, in McKillop. Mr. and Mrs. R. Trethewey, of London and Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Rodgers, of Stratford, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Cosford. Mr. and Mrs. Del Krauel and Marcia and Brian, of Kitchener, were Sunday guests of Mrs. Ada Dale. Mr. John Bruce, High Street, has been a patient in Seaforth Community, Hospital for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Elliott, of Stratford, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Elliott. Mrs. Alex Wright has return- ed from Hamilton, where she spent some time. Miss Agnes Wallace has, -the misfortune to fall in her home and break her hip. She was removed to a London hospital. Mr. Louis Laudenbach, who recently underwent an opera- tion in London, has returned to his home here and is able to be about again. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ireland, Toronto, spent the weekend with their aunt, Mrs. Milton Stewart, ...
