meeting will be held Wednes-
day, Oct. 20, at 8:30 p.m., in

Friends Honor Couple
A farewell party was held at
Kiriburn Hall Saturday evening
for Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Lawson,
who are moving to Seaforth,
and Mr. James Flynn, who is
moving to Clinton. They were
presented with a gift of elec-
trical appliances. Over 100 peo-
ple attended, and the evening
was spent playing cards, foI-
lowed by dancing. '
There will be no church ser-
vice at Constance on Sunday,
so the congregation -inay at-
tend services for Londesboro
anniversary.
4-H Club Meets
The 441 meeting was held at
the home of Betty Thompson
on Monday, and opened with
"God Save the Queen," follow-
ed by the Pledge, Agnes Haver-
kamp read the minutes, follow-
ed, by the roll call: The next
meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs. Whyte on Oct.
22nd. The girls made samples
of French seams and gathering
to put in their books. Dorothy
Ross thanked Mrs. Thompson
for the use of her home.
The Youth Fellowship of
Londesboro, Burns' and Con-
stance held a meeting Sunday
in Londesboro United Church
which opened with a sing -song,
ed by Bill Vincent. The Call
to Worship was given by Jet.
ery Shaddick, followed by a
hymn. The Scripture was giv-
en by Donna Riley, taken from
James 1:21-23.
