ducted a two-day ,training school
for 4-H Homemaking Club Lead-
ers in Clinton, Tuesday and
Wednesday: She was assisted
by Miss Mary Ellen Foote, To•
ronto, of the Home Economics
Service, Ontario Department of.
Agriculture,
The fall project, "Sleeping
Garment3;" is expected to at-
tract approximately 40 clubs,
said Miss Liddiard. Each girl
will make either pyjamas or a
nightgown. At the end , of the
training period, achievement
day's will climax the .project
some time in ' December and

A total of 436 persons •in
Huron County were X-rayed
during the summer .months at
regular clinics conducted by
the Huron, County. Tuberculosis
Association. Included were a
number of foodhandlers.
The information was contain-
ed in a report prepared by R.
B. Paterson, case -finding 'chair-
man, and presented in his ab-
sence by the association secre-
tary,. Mrs. -B. Davidson, at ,a
meeting of the association in
Clinton on' Thursday evening.
George., Watt, Blyth, the presi-
dent, was in charge of the meet-
ing. Miss A4. Robertson; the educa-
tion - ctliairman, reported "that
drug stores in the county had
been given pamphlets to place
in packages purchased.

plans have been made for the

,Mrs. •McEwan •discussed- three
Marys' of the Bible: Mary, moth-
er of Jesus; Mary, sister of Laz-
ares, and Mary Magdalen; also
conducted a quiz on Mothers
of the Bible. Hymn No. 16 was
sung and Mrs. Allan led in the
closing prayer. •. ,

coughing a lot, says that he has
