Mr. George Eaton was taken
to Westminster Hospital, Lon-
don, last . Thursday for further
treatment, after being a.patient
in Scott Memorial Hospital the
past two months.

urday, July 24, at 4:30 p.m.

The organist, Miss Carol Brown,
played - traditional wedding
musi& and 'acconipanted the
soloist, Miss Grace Hall, Lon-
don, who sang "The Wedding
Prayer" and "0 Perfect Love."
The bride's parentsare Mr. and
Mrs. Arch Dobson, of SeaJorthi,
and the groom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs, Arie Binnendyk,
Kippen.
The- bride, given In marriage
by 'her father, chose a floor -
length gown of white French
peau de faille. The bodice' 'Waq
highlighted by a shallow scoop
ed neckline with elbow -length
sleeves, ana was enhanced by
an empire band of guipure lace.
The gently controlled A-line
skirt cascaded from a semi -fit-
ted waist to a chapel train. She
wore. a shoulder -length veil
caught up by a single white
tulle and satin rose. She car-
ried a cascade of ,yellow roses
and trailing ivy.
Miss Christie Dobson,' Sea -
forth, was maid of honqr, and
actine as bridesmaids were Mrs.
Donald Millard, Brantford, and
Miss Barbara Dyble, Belleville.
They were dressed alike in
floor -length gowns of sea aqua
crepe. The fitted bodices had
an, overlay of white guipure
lace, scalloped at the waist with
elbow -length sleeves. Matching
wedding ring headpieces and
short veils completed their cos-
tumes. They carried eel -Scent
•bouquets of white Shasta mums.
The flower girl, Miss Cather-
ine Vennema, niece of the
groom, wore a floonflength gown
of white peau de faille with

, A miscellaneous shower was
held at Cavan Church, Win-
throp, for Miss :Margaret Alex-
ander, when her, friends and
neighbors gathered to express
their good wishes for her forth:

A short program was opened
by the Singing of "0 Canada,"
followed by a sing -song, with
Mrs. A. Scott at the piano. The
remainddr of the program con-
sistdd of duets and solos by
Vanda and gvelyn Storey and

mentals by Sandra Johnston
and Jean Patrick and a reading
by Lbis Bernard. Mrs. Toll con-
ducted two contests.

to the front and presented with
corsages. Miss Elaine Beattie
read the address. The gifts
were brought in by Mise Mart
lene Pepper, Miss Leis Bernard
and Miss Linda " Somerville.
Margaret thanked everyone and
extended an invitation to all
to attend, her trousseau tea.

was groomsman, ,and ushering

Hall, -Seaforth The bride's
mother received the guests
wearing a pink silk shantung
'sheath dress with lace bodice
and matching jacket, pink ac-
cessories and corsage of pink
Delight roses. Assisting her was
the gropm's mother, who chose
a blue silk shantung sheath
dress with lace bodice, white
accessories and a corsage , of
white roses.
The groom's ,gift to the bride
was a single strand of ,pearis
with. 'matching earrings, and
the bride's gift to the groom
was a gold wrist watch;
Guests from out-of-town were
from 'Algoma Mills,. Toronto,
Burlington, Brantford, London,,
Belleville, Teeswater, Illinois,.
Holland, Sarnia and Detroit.
For a wedding trip to 'Ber-
muda, the bride chose a :tur-
quoise three„piece suit of lin-
en- Shantung with black 'patent
accessories, black hat and con
sage of white carnations. The
couple will reside at 20 Craig
Street, London.
The bride is a' graduate .of
Victbria Hospital • School of
Niirsing, London, and 'the
groom is employed with John
