The former Annie Clark, she was the widow of Joseph Wil- liam Pinkney. She was born in Seaforth,, where he parents car- ried on a grocery business for 'many years. She is survived by sons Carl, Detroit; Lorne -and Floyd, To- ronto; Glen, Ottawa; and a daughter, Mrs. A. M. Homuth, Goderich. Interment was in Maitlandbank cemetery. MRS. JAMES A. THO MSoN A lifetime resident of the Brucefield area, Barbara Isabel Thomson, passed away at Hur- onview,, Clinton, on July 8th, at the age of 77 years. She was bbrn on concession 2 of Tuck- ersmith, a daughter • of Mr. and Mrs. ,.,Tames Chesney. She was the wife of James Alexander Thomson, and is survived by one son, James Alexander Thomson, Bruce - field. She was a member of Brucefield United Church and of Clinton Rebekah Lodge. ,. WEY Mrs. Marion Elizabeth Wey, 85, formerly of the Ethel, Moles- worth °and Listowel areas, died Sunday at Clinton. She was the widow of George Wey, who died in 1951, and was the former Marion Campbell, of Grey Township. She was a member of Ethel Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two .daughters, Mrs. Clifford (Margaret) Hill - strand, Erickson, Man., and Miss Elizabeth, of Portage La Prairie; one son, Campbell Wey, McKillop. Township, and four grandchildren. The funeral was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the R. S. Box funeral home, Seaforth, con- ducted by Rev. D: 0. Fry. Burial was in Molesworth cemetery.
