Robert Cochrane, 85, • a for-
mer world wheat king and a
pioneer resident of the Grande
Prairie region of northwestern
Alberta, is dead. He was a na:
live of Kippen. In 1955 Mr.
Cochrane was awarded the
World Wheat King title by the
Toronto Royal Winter Fair for
an entry of Saunders wheat. He
operated 'a 1400 -acre farm near,
Grande Prairie. Funeral;rerv-
ices were conducted in- Grande
Prairie:
