Rev. and Mrs. John Kappes of
Waterloo have moved into 'the
-parsonage, which was vacated
by Rev. and. Mrs. Harold Brill
last week, when they moved to
-their new charge,
Miss'Shirley Vock spent a few
days in. Stratford last week 'at
the home of her brother,. Mr. and

at the Community Park here on
Dominion Day. '

Secondary School, Stratford.
Mr. Clare French is taking a
summer course in London.
Miss Phyllis Hinz and Miss
Ruth Davey have taken posi-
tions in London.

Recent showers ,have been
very helpful to crops in Huron
County. The spring grains, beans
and corn in particular are show-
ing improved growth.
The large percentage of the
hay crops " have been stored,
while the ,crops are slightly be-
low average in yield, the quali-
ty is excellent.
The pea harvest is in full
swing and 'yields to date have
been very favourable.
