silk illusion and he carried ,a
cascade of pink rosebuds.
Matron of honor was a sis-
ter of the bride, Mrs. Edward
Ingold of New Hamburg. She
wore a white lace over deep
aqua ,gown, floor -length. Her
unique bouquet consisted of
long stemmed chrysanthemums
sprayed aqua to match the
dress.
The bridesinaids were Miss
Diane Bone of RR 1, Preston
and Miss Nancy Dessler of Tor-
onto, both cousins of the bride:
They were gowned similarity
to the matron of honor. Susan
and. Julie Ingold, New Haln-
burg, ' were flower ties, wear-
ing floor length, dresses of
white lace. Peter Wolfe, bro-
ther of the bride was ring

Best man was Armin Ostien,
of Stratford, formerly New
Hamburg.' The ushers were Al-
lan and Neil Haugh of Bruce -
field, cousins of the bride-
groom.
Following the wedding, a
dinner and reception was held
in the dining hall of the chap-
el. The tables were decorated
with white and aqua carna-
tions.
The bridal couple have re-
sided in Kingston. The bride
is a graduate of Stratford
Teacher's College and the
groom graduated, from the
University of Waterloo. The
bridegroom will Continue his
studies at Queen's University
and the bride will commence
teaching Public School in King-
ston in the fall.

Thrifty Kippenettes
The- third meeting of the
Thrifty Kippenettes was held
at the home of Mrs. Bruce Mc:
Gregor and opened with the
H Pledge. Eight girls were
present. The yell calli, "Pro-
gress of 'my garden", wag an-
swered. The minutes were
read by ' Barbara Gemmell.
The new secretary chosen - was
Dianne Stoll, and the next
meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs. Ken McLean,
Mrs. John Coward left Sun-
day on a trip through the
western provinces. She will be
away for about six weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Grubbe,
of London, and- Mrs. Harry
Ford visited Sunday with Mr.
and Mrs. Freeman Horne and
Raymond.
Mr- and Mrs. George Frayne,
of Sunshine Line, visited Satur-
day evening .with Mrs. William

The third meeting of Elim-
ville Club One was held at the
home of Mrs. Jack Hern, lead-
er. A demonstration on how to
transplant and thin vegetables
was given by Mrs. Jack Hern,
and the members also learned
how to freeze vegetables and
fruit.
A talk was given by Mrs.
Phil. Hern, leader, en insecti-
cides. Progress on the gardens
was given by everyone pres-
ent. The next meeting will be
held on July 26 at the home
of Mrs. Phil Hern.

Miss Mary MacGregor, of
Kitchener, is spending her holi-
days at her home.
There will be no church ser-
vice during the month of July.

Social Welfare work in Hamil-

Mrs. (Rev.) Wilson was ask-
ed to come forward and was
presented with a gift from the
UCW by Mrs. Everett Skinner.
Lunch was served by Group A.

Centre, decorated in pink and

ford, Miss Linda Moore; Staffa
and Miss Eleanor Kemp, Staf-
fa assisted with the dinner.
For travelling to Eastern
Canada, the bride chose a navy
blue dress and coat ,ensemble,
trimmed with white and navy
polka dots with white and navy
acCessories.
The couple will reside at 42
Toronto St., Guelph.

ter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Barker,- RR 3„ Mitchell, became
the bride of Eric Richard, Nor-
risr-guelph, son of Mrs. •SaM-
tiel Norris, RR 1, Staffa, and
the late Mr. Norris, at a pretty
wedding, solemnized in Zion
United Church, on June 12th,
at 2:30 p.m. Rev. A. H. Day-
nard officiated at the cere-
mony. The church was beauti-
fully decorated with candles,
ferns and pink and white flow-
ers. Mrs. Charles Roney was
organist and accompanied the
soloist, Mr. Robert Norris, Staf-
fi, brother of the groom, who
sang "The ord's Prayer" and
Wedding Prayer".
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father, Mr. Law-
rence Barker. She wore a for-
mal gown of silk Ligoda styled
with fitted bodice, bateau neck-
line and elbow length sleeves.
Lace appliques were • scattered
on the bodice and the skirt,
The sheath skirt had a detach.
able gathered overskirt which
formed a chapel train. A clus-
ter of"Pk fabric roses and lily
of the .'alley held her veil of
tulle illusion. The bride carried
a white Bible crested with
