Sullivan present- ed Dawa Reynolds and Brian Leonhardt with a cheque of $5 each on behalf of the Knights of Columbus for attaining the highest marks. He congratulat- ed them on their graduation, and encouraged 'them to go on to further education to be bet- ter citizens of the country. Hel- ene Huard, on' behalf of the, class, thanked Father Sullivan for all his help and guidance. Father John Van den Hengel congratulated the class and told them now, they are just begin: ning their education. Everyone today must get all the educa- tion they can to do a good job. Billie -Price thanked Father Van den Hengel. Mary Heenan thanked the ladies of the CWL. Father Sul- livan blessed and congratulat- ed each student as Mrs. James Nash pinned on class pins, giv- en by the CWL. She was assist- ed by Mrs. Harold Maloney. The bride was given in mar- riage by her father. She chose a floor-lengthgown of norganza over taffeta, styled with sabrina neckline of French guipre lace; embroidered with seed .pearls. The semi-full skirt fell from a softly pleated waistline, outlin- ed in French lace and seed pearls ending in a full train. Her headpiece was a matching pillbox of norganza over taf- feta. She carried a bouquet of white roses and ivy. Miss Mary Jenn McLean was her sister's maid of honor,' and Miss ,Pauline Anderson, of .God- - ericb, and 'Mrs. Sharon Mil- lard, of :Brantford, were brides- maids: They wore matching floor -length gowns of nile green chiffon over -taffeta, styled with empires waistlines and a -line skirts. The bodice featured a sabrina neckline and three-quar- ter length sleeves with double ruffle: They wore matching crown headpieces of nile green. )3ouquets° of white carnations and ivy completed their en- sembles. The groom's gift to. thebride was a gold initialed pendette, and the bride's ' gift to the' groom was a black diamond tie - tack and cuff links on sterling_ silver. A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony. • For a wedding trip to North- ern Ontario the bride travelled in a two-piece pink and green flowered polished silk styled with a -line skirt. Burial took place' in St. Patrick's cemetery, Dublin. EDWARD J. BROOK'S Funeral services for the lat Edward J. Brooks, 59, of Staff who died in Scott Memoria Hospital on Wednesday, Jun 23, were held from the G. A Whitney funeral home in Sea forth, on Friday at 2 •p.m. Rev A. H. Daynard officiated, wit burial in Staffa cemetery. •" Pallbearers • were Fred Good, George Plume, Frank Pinder, William Harburn, Robert Sad- ler and' Robert McCaughey. Fiowerbearers were Laverne Wallace, Ken Wallace, Donald° Adams and John Adams. MRS. ROBERT DQIG Mrs. Robert Doig, 80, of Eg- mondville, died in Scott Mem- orial Hospital Wednesday, June 23. She was the former Flor- ence Catherine Campbell, and was born in Wallace Township, and educated at Listowel. She was married in, Listowel in 1907. Mr. Doig died in 1943. They came to Egmondville in 1938. Surviving are three daugh- ters: Mrs. J. H..(Isabelle) Mac- Dougall, Mrs, William (Janet) Senior and Mrs. J. H. (Nylle) Stuart, all of Toronto; two sons, J. Andrew, of Egmondvifle, and Murray. S., Sarnia; 10 grand- children and four great-grand- children. Funeral serviced were held from Boit funeral home on Fri- day, with Rev. A. Scott, of Eg- mondville United Church, of- ficiating. Interment followed in Molesworth cemetery. Pallbearers were Andrew Moore, William burst, Wes Coombs, James Brown, Ken Moore and Norman MacLean.• Flowerbearers were William Doig, St. Thomas, and Lawson Doig. MRS, ELIZABETH MONK Scotia, she was OA former Elizabeth Wynacht. In' 1915 she married Harold L. Monk, who predeceased her in 1958. She lived in London until coming to reside with her daughter, Jean, Mrs. Bruce McGregor, of Tuckersmith Township, in 1964. She was a member of First Baptist Church, London. Besides Mrs. McGregor, she is survived by a daughter, (Edith) Mrs. Donald Dayman; 6f Walkerton, and a son, Wes- ley, of Belleville, nine grand. children; two sisters and two brothers, all in Nova Scotia.
