Passes
The district was shocked last
week by the sudden and un-
expected death of Wesley Brad -
nock, of Auburn, following a
heart' seizure at his home early
on Thursday morning.
In his 60th year,, Mr. Brad -
nock was the son of Thomas
Bradnock and Rose Lockhaiit
and was born near Blyth on
the Bradnock farm. His early
life was spent in the Blyth dis-
trict and he attended school at
SS 11, East Wawanosh. He
learned the barber trade in
Blyth under the direction of
Thomas Stewart. • He went to
Auburn in 1927 and operated
a , barber shop there until his
death. He was a member' of
Knox Presbyterian Church.
On October 29, 1938, he was
married to Eleanor I. Wilson.
The deceased was. keenly in-
terested in sports, played • on
several Auburn teams, and was
an ardent fisherman, i,M Mr. Bradnock has been a
numinist for many years and , o
was a member of the Numis-
matic Association of Canada,
0.N.A., and a charter member
of the Stratford and London
Coin Clubs.
The largely attended funeral
was from the J. K. Arthur-
funeral home and was conduct-
ed by Rev. R. U. MacLean. The
pallbearers were Don Haines,
Ken Scott, Art Youngblut, Bill.
Wagner, Major Youngblut and
Ed. Davies. Flowers were car
ried by Harry Beadle, Lloyd
Humphreys, Ben Hamilton, Wil-
fred Sanderson, Gary Nicholson
and John Bennett. Interment
was in Bali's cemetery,
Friends , were present from
North Bay, London, Stratford,
Woodstock, Lurgon Beach, Rip-
ley, Winghaili, Varna and Sea -
forth.

The new Picnic Pavilion is available until 7:00
p.m. each .day, without charge, for the use of
picnic groups on . a first-come first-served basis.
In the event of bad weather, it will be expected
that groups will co-operate. td` permit maximum
use being made of the pavilion protection.
The Pavilion may be reserved each
evening after 7 o'c,ock for special
gatherings or meetings.
Reser'vations may be made ,.at the Park. Rental
fees are related to the nature' of the event; and
