nesday with " Mrs. Ross Broad -
foot and Mrs. William Kyle as
hostesses. The president, Mrs.
Verne Alderdice, chaired the
meeting.
Reports of the- president; sec-
retary, Mrs. Kyle; treasurer,
Mrs. Robert Bell; auditor, Mrs:
Ernie Whitehouse, and the
standing committee reports
were received. Mrs, Jas. Drum-
mond gave the Sunshine Fuxid
report; sewing and curator's re-
port, Mrs. A. McGregor; Mrs.

Roy P. Chessel
Roy P. Chesser 66 James St.,,
Mitchell, died suddenly at his
home, on M'bnday !afternoon: He
had been in ailing health for
several years. He was born
in F u 11 a r t o n Township, Jan-
uary 6, 1899, a son of Mrs.
Hannah Chesser of Mitchell, and
the lobe William ChesseiOn
September 12, 1923, he married
Maggie Long and, they resided
in Mitchel. He was, a former
employee of Levy's Feed Mill`
and has been janitor of Knox
Presbyt'er'ian Church for sever-
al years. Surviving besides his
wife and mother are four, sons
Kenneth, 118 Avondale Ave.,
and George, 97 Blake St., Strat-
i'''. rJ; Ea !, Bu>1_ingbon and
Glenn el' Brantford; 3 daugh-
ters, MTs. Jack (Doreen') Eisler,
Seaforbh; Mrs. Jack (Doris)
McCann, 25 Bay St., Stratford;

Lean, Cromarty; two brothers,
Wilfred •and Dalton, Mitchell;
tvo sisters, . Mrs: Wilfred T.
(.Mabel) Cruickshank, Wingham,
and Mrs. Jahn (Dorothy) Richie
of Brussels; and twenty grand-
children. The body was at the
Heath -Leslie Funeral Home,
'Mitchell atter 7:30 p.m. Ttue--
day, • where the funeral service
was held Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
Burial was in Knox Presbyter-
ian Cem'etary; Mitchell.

after my baby was born!. I was
really lost, as I 'load never taken
care of a 'baby before.
The only time we 'heap about
her is when :she pones to tell us
her troubles. We havehelped
her with moneys when my dad
was out of work.
She never did much for me
when I. was ' yoa,ne, either. She
slept i.n while I.grabbed toast
and a glass of milk bailee I was
off to school. My dresses were
dirty and torn, and never fitted
right,.
My husband thinks she is hor-
rible, and wants nothing more
to do with.hen.
