included the presentation of
the TV show, "Take Your
Choice," with, members of the
panel being Mrs. Beer, Mrs.
Bengough, • Mrs. Wilbert''• Dill-
ing, Mrs. IL D: Elgie, With Mrs.
Sherrit in charge of the black-
board. Contestants were Mrs.
Greta Laramie, Mrs. V, M.
Yyette,'' Mrs. Laird Mickle and
Mrs. Carl Payne. Mrs. Cross.
acted a$) MC. Mrs. Laird Mickle
played a medley of piano selec-
• tions, and—Miss, Lammie con-
ducted an action song, `.`Peter
Rabbit." Mrs. Cross gave cour-
tesy remarks. Presentation of
gifts were made to Mrs. Wil-
bert Dilling, retiring secretary -
treasurer, and to Miss Lam-
mie, the Institute pianist; ad-
dress by Mrs. Beaton and pres-
entation ,by Mrs. Bengough.
Prizes for eldest lady went to
Mrs. Alice Joynt; 'birthday in
April, Mrs. Edna Corbett; lucky
cup, -Mrs. Thomas Kyle, Sr.
Forty attended the meeting,

Sunrise Service
T h e .Hensall - 'Chisejhurst
Youth Fellowship held an Eas-
ter Sunrise service in the Unit-
ed Church Sunday. This" was
'followed by breakfast for the
entire congregation in Fellow-
ship Hall.

evening for the regular meet-
ing of the Hensall Kinette Club,
when the following officers were

Plans were made for the an-
nual spring rummage sale, May
15th, at the Arena. It was an-
nounced that 57 plants were
given to shut-ins on shut-in
day Sunday,
` Resolutions to be presented
at the district convention in
Buffalo, N.Y., next month were
discussed.
Guiding Chairman Delegated
A swing to extra work in con-
nection with the Guide Move-
ment in Huron, Mrs. Thomas
Lavender, of Hensall, District
Commissioner and Camp Advis-
er, has delegated the duties of
chairman of the local associa-
tion, to Mrs. Earle Rowe, of
-Hensall.
The role of the local associa-
tion is an infportant one. Guid-
ing is for girls, but the suc-
cess of the program `adependson
the adults who give their time
and energy to support Guiding
in the community. Members of
the local association are parents
of Brownies and Guides, or any
person in sympathy with the
movement.
It is the. duty of the local
association to raise the neces-
sary finances to preside the
Brownies and Guides With good
leadership, a regular meeting
place, equipment, transportation
when necessary, and ,to encour-
age camping,
Coming September it is the
hope of the executive that ev-
ery mother of i Guide or
Brownie will avail herself of
the opportunity to become A lo-
cal association member, and
share in, the work •

A spring fashion show was
staged at Auburn Community
Hall recently, sponsored by
Clinton Junior Institute, and
was largely attended.
It featured the showing of
spring fashions , from Eve -Mar
Store, Seaforth, and House of
Fashions, Clinton. Models were
Misses Kaye McCowan and Eliz-
abeth Carter, Seaforth; Linda
Nott, Clinton; Linda Nesbitt,
Blyth; Sharon Ball, June Dor-
an, Mrs. Bradnock and little
Janet Cunningham, all of Au-
burn. Mrs. Edwards, of. Gode-
rich, was the commentator.
Hair styling was also demon-
strated. Humorous recitations
were given by Mrs. Sprung, of
Auburn, and duets by the Snell
sisters'.

were cohostesses at a shower in
her honor at the home of .Mrs.
Charles Nelson, Clinton. The
colors and spring flowers,
Games and contests• were en-
joyed. Mrs. Nelson read the
address and Benny Laird, dress-
ed as an Easter bunny, present-
ed the , bride with many lovely
gifts.

United- Church. The bride was
seated in a fancy pink and white

ducted by Mrs. Ross Corbett
and Miss Gail Sangster. Mrs.
Jack Corbett gave a humorous
reading. Mrs. Eric Mansfield
read the address,• which was
prepared by Mrs. Robert Simp-
son. Misses Kim Corbett and
Cathy Parker presented many
lovely gifts to the bride. Miss
Gail Sangster and Miss Marion
Schroeder assisted the bride in
opening the gifts, after which
Miss Cathy Parker and Miss Jim
Corbett favored the guests with
a duet.

patient in Scott Memorial Hos-
pital,' Seaforth.
'Miss -Norma Passmore, of
Burlington, spent Easter with
her mother, Mrs. Pearl Pass-
more.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Spencer

17th, at 3 p.m., when Patricia
Marilyn Jones became the .bride
of Ralph Norman Holland, of
Clinton, in a .ceremony per:
formed by the ' Rev.• Harold F.
Currie. The bride is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. James
Sangster, of Hensall, and -the
groom is • the son of Mrs: Nor-
man Holland and the late Mr.
Holland, of Clinton.
Mrs. Sohn Tuerkheim, of Zur-
ich, provided wedding music
and accompanied the soloist,
Miss Dorothy Parker, London,
who sang "The Lord's Prayer"
and "Wedding Prayer."
Given in .marriage by her
stepfather, Mr. James Sangster,
•the bride chose for her wedding
,a--floor-length gown of misty'
nylon over satin and net with
lily -point sleeves. Appliques ac-
cented the shallow scoop neck-
line and the front of the con-
trolled skirt• which had a large
bok at the back waist.. Her
shoulder -length veil was held.
by 'a clown of lace, sequins and
pearls, and she carried a cas-
cade of pink Delight rases and
ivy.

feta, styled with a shallow

pink carnations. -

burg, was his brother's grooms-
man, and Ross Corbett and Bri-
an Turner ushered guests.
The wedding reception was
held in the church parlors, the
bride's mother received wearing
an ivory lace ensembles tur-
quoise- aqua and a corsage of
pink roses and feathered. carna-
tions. The groom's mother chose
a navy dress with navy • and.
pink accessories, with a cor-
sage of pink carnations.
The bride's table centred a
three-tier' wedding cake and
candies; floral decorations were,
made up with pink and white
sweet peas.
For travelling on their wed-
ding trip, the bride wore a pink
suit with accessories in pink
and black. The young couple
will reside in Clinton.

tors of the Corporation on the 25th day of March, 1965,
authorizing an application for Supplementary Letters• Patent
changing the name of the Corporation to Seaforth Com-
munity Hospital.
2. To consider and if approved, • pass any and all reso-
lutions and give all such authorizations and directions as
May be necessary or desirable in .connection with the fore-
going.
