The annual bazaar and tea,
sponsored by St. James' Cath -
die Women's League, was held
in St. James' School on Satur-
day with a gaily lit tree and
window decorations providing a
Christmas setting. Guests were
received by Mrs. Frank Nigh,
president, and Mrs. Clarence
Malone, vice-president.
The tea table, covered with a
white cloth, was centred with
a Christmas scene, flanked by
red vigil lights. Individual
tables were centred !with poin-
settia and painted pine • cones.
Pourifig tea were Mrs. Lou
Sills, Mrs. James L. Slattery,
Mrs. Jean Fortune and Miss
Marguerite Dunn.
Hostesses in the tea room

Rev. Father Sullivan presided
at the draw for prizes. Win-
ners of the special` draw' were

Martin Van Loon, fry pan, and
Mrs. Bessie Scalisi, Woodstock,
'blankets. The Christmas cake
was won by Mrs. Alvin Sillery,
and the sweater set by Miss
Marjory 'Kieffer.
