Offers For the Purchase
of 'Scott Memorial
Hospital and Nurses'
• Residence
SEAFORTH, ONT.
Offers for the purchase of
the 33 -bed Scott Memorial Hos-
pital building will be received
by the undersigned. The build-
ing of brick construction will.
become available on the expect-
ed completion next June of new
hospital facilities now under
construction.
Located on James Street, Sea -
forth, Ont., the original build-
ing consists of three storeys and
includes an elevator from the
third floor to the basement floor.
A one -storey brick addition
was erected in 1947. The facili-
ties on the ground floor include
four private single rooms, five
semi -private rooms, three wards,
two solaria, together with the
necessary servicing and admini-
strative areas.
The second' floor includes six
large rooms presently allocated
to administration; and health
unit accommodation.
The third floor .contains an
operating room, X-ray facilities
and necessary ancilliary accom-
modation.
The building is heated by hot
water boilers, oil and coal fired.
It is served by natural gas and
the municipal sewer system.
Adjacent to the hospital pro-
per is located a three-storey
nurses' residence containing 8
bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 living
rooms and kitchen. In addition,
there is included a self-contain-
ed two-bedroom apartment.
Both buildings 4 ,- surround-
ed by large grounds and are'
located in a residential part, of
ehe town.
It is suggested the facilities
would provide excellent accom-
modation for a nursing home,
private hospital, or a home such
as is maintained by religious or
fraternal organizations.
Offers to• purchase to be made
in writing with respect to either
or both of the properties. Upon
application to the undersigned,
arrangements to examine the
properties may be made. The
highest or any offer not neces-
sarily accepted.
