The Hospital Auxiliary met
in the nurses' residence Tues-
day. The meeting, in chargeof
Mrs; H. Cosford, observed a
minute's silence in memory of
the late Mrs. Elmer Larone,
past president of the auxiliary,
and Mrs. John Talbot.
Marg Cuming reported 167
pairs of baby bootees had been
handed into the hospitalthis
year, `including bootees knit by
Mrs. Dunn, aged 97, and Mrs.
Campbell; 95,
Mrs. R. R. McKindsey report-
ed a successful canvass for as-
spciate members. The October
rummage sale realized $376.87.
The auxiliary- expressed thanks
to all who helped in any way
to make it such d success. Mrs.
Winnie Nott and Mrs. Effie
Stephenson gave reports on the
convention held in Toronto last
month. A vote of thanks was
given by Miss Alice Reid. The
Hospital Auxiliary Bursary this
year is to be awarded to Miss
Ruth Ritchie. The mystery prize
was won by Mrs. Park. Lunch
was served by Mrs. Gus Bous-
sey, Mrs. Mae Habkirk and
Miss Janet Cluff.

July owing to a car accident.

death of Gerald Scott, 17 -year -

Scott, former residents and who
once owned a store here.
