Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Clinton. The president, Mrs. Wesley Bradnock, opened the meeting with an inspiring mes- sage for the New Year. Rey. G. L. Royal, of- Goderich, Moderator of Huron and Mait- land Presbytery, brought greet- ings. Mr. Royal commended the ladies on their work and stress- ed the..importance of Missions. He said that a church without missions is a dying ..church. Morning devotions were giv- en by Mrs. Robert Homuth,' of Clinton, who read Psalm.11,--and• the theme was "God in Nature." In the absence of the secretary, Mrs. Wilfred Sanderson,- of Au- burn, - the minutes were read by Mrs. G. L. Haines. An en- couraging treasurer's report showed an increase over last yearl- givings. - Miss Clare Hanes, regional synodical secretary, whose head- quarters are at McNab. Street Church, Hamilton 7 spoke brief- ly. She Mentioned the work be- ing accomplished by Visitation with' Vans, Education and Evan- gelistic work, port wprk and hospital visitation. Miss Haines reminded the ladies of the meaning of the words: Wo- men's Missionary Society, and brought to us the richness of their content.. "Cpme, be ray Disciples; ye " are my Disciples if ye love ane another."
