Band is starting classes in Oct. for students
interested in learning piping or drumming.

at least 10 years of age, no previous musi-
cal training is required but training with
another instrument and/or some under-
standing of the theory of music would be
useful. Instruction will be available for be-
ginners and also for experienced players
who wish to develop their skills. Participants
will be encouraged to join the band and par-
ticipate in parades and performances at
fairs and other community events but they
are not required to do so. Instruction and
coaching for participation solo competitions
organized by the Pipers and Pipe Band So-
ciety of Ontario will be available. For further
