Karl welcomed their baby sister Martha on
October 11th 2016 at Stratford General
Hospital. Proud parents of the 6 lbs 10 oz
and 51cm long lady are Sebastian and
Annemarie Kraft. Spoiling privileges go to
Udo & Hiltraud Kraft and Heiner Wuebbels
as grandparents. Martha was welcomed
with smiles and love from Katrin & Colin
Van den Berg with Isla & Noah, Josef &
Andrea Wuebbels with Leon & Lina, Gerd &
Bettina Wuebbels with Cleo, and all the
loved ones looking from above.

Patrick Rushton and Colleen Caesar are
excited to announce the birth of their son
Liam Thomas David Rushton. Liam was
born on November 10, 2016 at AM&G
Hospital, Goderich at 7:14 pm, and he
weighed 8 lbs 6 oz, and is 21 inches long.
Proud grandparents are Tom Rushton,
Susan Rushton, and David and Virginia
Caesar. Liam is also welcomed by several
Great -Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and
cousins. Thank you to midwives Ellen Peel
and Jasmine Graham, and Dr. Julie Moore,
nurses and staff at AM&GH and Drs. Mike
and Grant Dawson for pre -natal care.

has been extended to our entire family dur-
ing the heart breaking loss of Judy. We
were truly touched by the many expres-
sions of sympathy and your prayers. We

neral Home in Elmira, Rev. Drew Maxwell

cobs. Judy was a uniquely special person

HUBER, David "Hub" - David "Hub"
Huber, of Lucknow, passed away at the
Wingham Hospital on Tuesday, November
15, 2016 at age 60. He was born in
Wingham on October 17, 1956 to the late
Wilhelmina (Lorentz) and Leo Huber.
Survived by his son Nick Huber of Lucknow
and daughter Jocelyn Huber of Molesworth
and grandson Seth. Also missed by siblings
Francis Huber of Goderich, Lucille Hart of
Kitchener and Terrie Pitre of Goderich.
Predeceased by sister Barb Huber. A
Celebration of Life will be held at the
Lucknow Legion on Sunday, November 27,
2016 from 1-4 PM. In lieu of flowers,
donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
are greatly appreciated as expressions of

SLATER, Donalda Mae - Donalda Mae
Slater, beloved wife of the late James
Slater, of Lucknow and formerly of Ripley
and Point Clark, passed away at Pinecrest
Nursing Home, Lucknow on Thursday,
November 10, 2016 in her 96th year. She
was born on September 28, 1921 in Huron
Township to the late Mary (MacKenzie) and
Donald MacCharles. Donalda moved to
Toronto when she was 15 to find
employment. During the 2nd World War she
worked at the John Inglis Factory doing
wartime machining - more specifically
making Bren guns - she was known as a
Bren Girl. She married James Slater in
1948 and after several years in Toronto,
they returned to her rural roots in Huron
Township in 1977. Donalda was very
talented and made many treasured quilts,
crafts and hand painted china plates.
Donalda was known by her many nieces
and nephews as Aunt Donnie and played
an important part in their lives. She was
survived by sisters-in-law Peggy
MacCharles of Ripley, Leona Knott of
Thornbury and Marion Avery of Kincardine.
Also greatly missed by several nieces and
nephews. Donalda is predeceased by her
siblings Marie (Fred) Darrah, Isabel
(Ernest) Gaunt, Sadie (Bill) Knott, John
(Noreen) MacCharles, Jessie (Eldon)
Avery, Sandy MacCharles, Rod
MacCharles, Margaret (Bruce) Taylor and
brother-in-law Howard Robb. She was also
predeceased by nephews Donnie and
Eddie Gaunt, Ronald MacCharles, Danny
Taylor, niece Laurie MacCharles and great
nephew Scott Donaldson. A Celebration of
Donalda's Life was held at the MacKENZIE
& McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Ripley
on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 1 PM
with Judy Zarubick officiating. Donations to
the St. Andrew's United Church or
Pinecrest Residents Council were greatly
appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
The family appreciated the wonderful care
that their Aunt Donnie received while at
Rvilla and Pinecrest Nursing Home. A
special thank you to MacKenzie &
McCreath funeral home for making the
arrangements and to Judy Zarubick and
Anne Pritchard for their parts in the service.
