Friendship Club saw
upwards of 175 people out
to its Christmas Craft
Show and Sale on the
weekend.
The Oct. 29, 2016 event at
the Point Clark Community
Centre featured 29 vendors
from across the region, with
funds raised going towards
the organization's many
fundraisers throughout the
year.
Point Clark's Roy
Douglas was one of the
vendors, showcasing his
wide variety of handmade
birdhouses he makes from
branches, barn boards,
cedar rail fences and
more.
Dubbed "The Bird Man"
by friends, Douglas said
he often has a display of
his birdhouses at his
home at the corner of
Courtney Crescent and
Huron Road, and word has
spread about the unique-
ness of his work.
