Crokinole scores for March 12 An afternoon of competi- tive crokinole took place on Saturday, March 12 at the Sacred Heart Church Hall in Teeswater with five tables of players. Hosts Peter & Jo -Ann Carter decided to sit out and watch the competition after wel- coming the new players coming from Owen Sound, Cargill, Paisley and Brussels. They included Vera Gutzke, Evelyn Pearce, Jim and Kathy Bridge, Marilyn Thompson and George Schiestel from Belmore. After 10 games the yellow card division was very close with Darlene Schiestel coming out on top with 48 points, followed closely by Aileen Brebner with 47 third was Evelyn Hodgkinson with 45 and a tie between Carol Cook and Janet Diebel with 43 for fourth. In the twenties Carol and Marilyn Thomp- son tied with 26, Evelyn had 21 and Janet finished next with 17.
