is working with interested communities in a number of
areas in Ontario to implement Canada's plan for the long-
term management of Canada's used nuclear fuel. Any
decisions regarding a single potential site are still many
years away.
The NWMO is seeking to hire a locally -based individual
to help facilitate important engagement work in the Bruce
and Huron County areas involved in the site selection
process.
The successful candidate must locate in the area.
Extensive travel within the area is required. This is a

Pavement Marking Operators / Laborers
Position Summary: Applying pavement markings on highways, county and municipal roads including re -tracing existing lines and
symbols as well as new construction and layout, Full time work for the right candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate pavement marking equipment including
but not limited to paint stripers crash trucks,
loaders, tractors, pickup trucks and walk behind
paint application carts.
• Lay out and pre mark on new and existing
asphalt.
• Traffic control set up and take down including
flagging operations as per OTM book7
• Execute the work through the application of
recognized human resource policies. safety
procedures and other related corporate
guidelines.
• Review completed work and ensure appropriate
documentation is completed.
• Maintain and conduct quality and environmental
control measures.
• Facilitate a safe and healthy work environment
• Maintain/clean equipment as required and
conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs
as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation including driver
log books for CVOR vehicles on a daily basis.
• Responsible to maintain and record information.
• Willingness to travel most of the summer.
• Operate snow plows and other winter
maintenance equipment during the winter.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
• Experience in highway painting /
maintenance would be an asset.
• Must have a DZ license and successfully
complete road test
• Basic knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic
control.
• Flexible with work hours, and the ability to
be on call for after hour calls when required.
• Willingness to be on the road a large part of
the painting season. (home most weekends)
• Willingness to work nights if required.
• Ability to lift at least 50Ibs

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage commercial, industrial, private, municipal
and road construction projects in and around the
area. The ideal candidate should have multiple
years of experience working in a leadership role in
a fast paced environment. Handling projects with
an advanced level of scheduling of specialized
construction crews and equipment is required.
Asphalt experience is an asset.
• The Construction Manager is responsible for the
timely completion of multiple projects within the
allotted budget. The position will be responsible
for scheduling the project activities and directly
supervise various foremen in the construction of
all earthworks, roadwork, or other performed work
• Coordinate crew production and establish high
standards of quality and productivity.
• Maintain construction schedules and
solving problems which arise.
• Order materials and schedule inspections as
necessary throughout the project.
• Responsible for all employees and contractors
adhering to safety policies.
• Responsible of daily activities reports and
tracking materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Promotes job site safety, encourages safe
work practices and rectifies job site hazards
immediately.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 Years in a Field Supervisory
Role within the Highway Construction
Industry.
• Proven History of Managing Multiple
Crews.
• Engineering background will be
considered an asset.
• Strong understanding of MTO standards
and contracts an asset.
