TREMAINE, Laurine - February 15,
1949 - July 12, 2016. Laurine Isabel
Tremaine (nee Morrison) of Parry Sound,
passed away peacefully after a brief battle
with cancer at West Parry Sound Health
Centre on July 12th, 2016 at the age of 67.
Beloved wife of Paul and devoted mother to
Jeff (Elizabeth), Lisa (Rob), Jamie, and
Stephen (Cristina). Missed by her
grandchildren Tiffany, Alex, Owen, Keira,
Cassandra, and Timothy. Loving sister of
Murray (Jo -Anne), Lloyd (Glenda), Barry
(Coralyn), the late Ralph (Sandra), Roger
(Vicky), Karl, and Kay (Jerry). Predeceased
by mother Phyllis, father Gordon, and her
grandson Frederick. Laurine worked as the
Chief Librarian of the Parry Sound Public
Library for 26 years, and was a member of
the St. James United Church Council.
Rested at the Logan Funeral Home, 81
James Street, Parry Sound (705-746-5855),
where friends and family were received on
Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 12:30 PM until the
time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Cremation to follow. Graveside Service to
follow at a later date at Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow. As expressions of sympathy,
donations to the Terry Fox Foundation or
The Children's Book Bank would be
appreciated.

BURNS, Eileen Hills (nee
Brownsword) - Peacefully at Grey Bruce
Health Services, Southampton, Ontario, on
Thursday, July 14th, 2016, in her 96th year.
Eileen, loving wife of the late Jim Burns.
Beloved Mom of Pam and her husband
Gary Craig, Ken and his wife Trudy, Bob
and his wife Linda, and Barry and his wife
Cathy. Proud Grandma of Cuileann (Rob),
Kirsty (Scott), Joanne, Peter, Hannah,
Rosemary (Dave), Teresa (Stephen),
Melanie (James), Don, Angela (John), Will
(Beth), Michael (Jadey), and Steven.
Great -grandma of Elizabeth, Kael, and
Amelia. Dear sister of Marge Cummings.
Predeceased by her sisters Margaret and
Hilda, her brothers Stewart and Reg, and
her infant son Donald. Friends were
received at the T.A. BROWN FUNERAL
HOME, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin,
519-832-2222, on Monday, July 18th, 2016,
from 7-9 pm. A funeral service was held in
the chapel on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016, at
11 am. Interment Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow, Ontario. Memorial donations to
the Port Elgin United Church or the Heart
and Stroke Foundation would be

WM. WAYNE PERCY
July 15, 1953 - June 3, 2016
Passed away at home in Ardrossan in his
63rd year. Wayne drove truck in Edmonton
for more than 25 years. He drove over a
million miles without an accident and was
revered by his workers. He is survived by
his son, Alex in Edmonton and two sisters
Sandra Munro, Winnipeg and Erlma Hal-
denby, Kinlough, his step son Michael
Webber (Skye) and 4 granddaughters, Ed-
monton. A memorial service was held in
Sherwood Park Presbyterian Church on
July 2nd with internment in Greenhill Ceme-
tary, Lucknow July 17th. Wayne was
predeceased by his parents Alex and Myrtle
Percy, brother Eric, sister Marion Jansen,
and two brothers in law, Glen Haldenby and
Hugh Jansen. He will be missed. Rest in
peace.
