A few of the firefighters of
the Lucknow and District
Fire Department have been
presented with medals of
service from the Fire Mar-
shalls Office.
The presentation took place
Jan. 4, 2016.
Firefighters recognized
include:
• Firefighter and long time
Deputy Fire Chief Gary Aus-
tin - 45 -year bar and ribbon
to attach to his Long Service
Medal.
• Chief Peter Steer - 35 -year
bar and ribbon to attach to his
Long Service Medal.
• Firefighter Steven
Chamney - 30 -year bar and
ribbon to attach to his Long
Service Medal.
• Firefighter Lance
Sanderson - 25 -year Long
Service Medal and a broach
for his wife Judy.
• Captain Steven MacPher-
son - 25 -year Long Service
Medal and a broach for his
wife Carol.
