Mother would have been extremely touched by the lovely service conducted by Rev. David Chung and by the many people who came to show their love and respect in her memo- ry. Many thanks to her nieces and nephews who sang, at her request, 'Beautiful Isle of Somewhere' accompanied by Karen Martyn and to the trio, Ellen, Marilynne and Dale Gilchrist, who sang 'In the Garden' accom- panied by Sandy Maclntyre. Also, thanks to the grandsons, Duncan Mowbray, Sandy Maclntyre, Andrew Mowbray, Alphonse Murray, Jonathan Thompson and Michael Bannerman, who acted as pallbearers and to the flower bearers, granddaughters, Mar- garet deBoer, Nancy Gibson, Melanie Carney, Brittany Thompson, and great granddaughters, Heather deBoer and Ellen Gilchrist. We also appreciate the ladies who prepared the lovely lunch for us follow- ing the service. Obituaries Obituaries Obituaries Obituaries ANDERSON, Anne - Anne Anderson, beloved wife of the late Cecil Gardner and Charles Anderson, passed away at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow on Monday April 4, 2016 at age 94. She was born in Aneroid, Saskatchewan on August 5, 1921 to the late Margaret (Wilkes) and Wilfred Quaid. Dear Mother of Ken (Wendy) Gardner of Point Clark, Charlene (Doug) McEwan of Holyrood and Joan (Bob) Cresswell of Aylmer. Greatly missed by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great -great grandchildren. Also survived by daughter-in-law Anne Gardner of Point Clark, sister Millie Montgomery of Listowel, brothers John Quaid and Ken "Bud" Quaid both of Sarnia, sister-in-law Dorothy Anderson of Mount Hope and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Ron Gardner and sisters Helen Dickson, Marion DeSilva and Mabel Westlake. Visitation was held from MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service was conducted from the Lucknow United Church on Thursday April 7, 2016 at 1 PM with Rev. Lynne Wilson officiating. Pallbearers were Shawn McEwan, Scott Gardner, Roy Gardner, Rod McDonough, Angela Diamond and Jennifer Rose. Honourary pallbearers were Tom Andrew, Steve McEwan and Mike McEwan and flowerbearers were Susan Skillen and Makena McEwan. Spring interment Greenhill Cemetery. Donations to the Lucknow United Church were greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
