Ripley Wolves novices
claim WOAA championship
The Ripley Novice Reps were
awarded the Jacobi Cup on Easter
Monday, after narrowly defeating
the Shallow Lake Lakers in a 3-2
overtime victory.
Having a slow start in regular
season play, the boys' hard work
and perseverance paid off.
The Wolf Cubs gained momentum
nearing the end of regular season
play, and were able to hang onto it
well into playoffs.
After sweeping Zurich in their
first series, the boys were awarded
top points in the Round Robin
series, advancing them to the
Championship series.
Fans were treated to some great
hockey, and with true Ripley
spirit, supported the players by
filling the Wolf Den to capacity
with green & white!
A huge congratulations goes out
to the players and coaches, who
defied all odds, never gave up, and
played their way to WOAA Jacobi
Cup Champions. Way to go Wolves!
